Healthy Children, Healthy Communities

Exciting opportunity for rural Family Child
Care Home providers!

About the Project

Healthy Children, Healthy Communities is a research and Extension-based study designed to support family child care home providers in creating healthy environments for young children. Funded by the National Institutes of Health and supported by University of Nebraska–Lincoln, this project aims to discover new ways to support children’s healthy growth and development.

We partner with home-based child care providers across Nebraska, especially in rural communities, to build capacity, offer coaching support, and co-create sustainable and scalable solutions that fit their daily routines and community context.
